
Giovanni Ruffolo

Class of 2021
My name is Giovanni Ruffolo, and I am a sophomore at St. Thomas Aquinas High School. This year I am taking Advanced Placement and honors courses, along with Leadership classes too.
I am participating in multiple clubs and extracurricular activities this year. I am a member of the Marine Biology Club, and participate in the Leadership and Social Justice programs at my school. After school, I like to play soccer, hockey, and like to run. I also like to help do good around my community. I help stock shelves and distribute food to the less fortunate at my local food pantry. I also am a counselor at my old elementary school. So far I have earned almost 400 service hours by working in my community
I am very excited to be working as a member of the International Business Internship Program. My friends and I are very eager to help change the lives of our business partner and community in Nigeria. I am very excited to see what we can do when we all work together to make those people’s lives easier

Marc Zavarro

Class of 2022
Marc Zavarro is a rising Sophmore attending Western High School in Davie, Florida. Marc is an honor roll student who takes special interest in history and debate.
Marc is a leader of a charity known as Children Helping Other Children. Along with this, Marc spends countless hours practicing for Speech and Debate tournaments.
Marc is extremely exicted to be attending the International Leadership and Business Summit Tier 2 program this summer as he greatly enjoys Polotics and International Relations. Marc has always shown skills in leadership and hopes that this summer program is going to allow him to strengthen the skills he is going to need to be a successful in Business and International Relations.

Sean Yamaguchi

Class of 2021
Sean Yamaguchi is a rising junior at the California Academy of Mathematics and Science. Sean is a hard-working and dedicated student who enjoys Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Physics.
Sean participates in a vast number of activities: ranging from a robotics internship at his school and his school's Physics Club to soccer and tennis. Sean also participates in his local government, being a 2nd-year member at Torrance Youth Council and a current member of the Torrance Strategic Planning Committee. He also is a part of other clubs such as MESA (Mathematics, Engineering, and Science Achievement), Key Club, Math Club, and Science Olympiad.
After attending the Tier I of the International Business and Leadership Summit, Sean really wanted to do more. For that reason, he decided that it would be a great opportunity to take part in the Tier II version of that program. He is ecstatic to return back to Georgetown to make a better future for the world. Sean can't wait to see what is in store for this year's program.

Nicholas Soviero

Class of 2020
My name is Nick Soviero and I am a currently a Junior at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. This year, I am taking multiple AP, dual enrollment, and honors courses at my school.
Currently, I am involved in a variety of clubs and extracurricular activities. First off, I am a member of the National Honor Society and Tri-M Music Honor Society at my school. I also play the trumpet in the Jazz band. I am an active member of the Model UN, Social Justice, Leadership, and Campus Ministry programs at my school. During my free time, I enjoy watching sports or playing baseball. My community service involves teaching younger kids baseball at my local park, volunteering at a homeless shelter and at the HCA/Westside Hospital in my community. I currently have accumulated over 800 service hours in my community.
I am so excited and proud to be attending this summer program. I will work as hard as I can to achieve success at this program. This is an amazing opportunity and I am blessed to be apart of it.

Cole Lowe

Class of 2022
Cole Lowe is a rising sophomore attending St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, FL. As a young child, he lived in The Bahamas attending a one-room school with Guyanese teachers.
Living in the Bahamas afforded him the experience of two cultures and also fostered a love of the ocean and its creatures. He is a boater, fisherman, and free-diver.
When he is not working on Engineering projects, Cole enjoys playing Lacrosse and Mountain Biking. He is also an avid reader and enjoys photography.
Cole is looking forward to the unique experience this summer program has to offer.

Jacob Wancier

Class of 2020
Jacob Wancier is a rising senior attending Western High School in Davie, Florida. Jacob is a dedicated honor student who enjoys Business and Math.
Jacob enjoys playing varsity baseball for his high school. He is also the Vice President of the Entrepreneurship Club at his school and a member of multiple service hour clubs, including National Honor Society and St. Jude Club.
Jacob has always shown large interests in the business and entrepreneurship field and is excited for the opportunity to participate in International Leadership and Business Summit. Jacob is a determined leader who would someday like to own and run his own business, and this opportunity may be the first step toward that goal.
